2Solar Stories: Meet Maaike
Who are you?
I am Maaike, 26 years old, living in Zwolle with Rik (my boyfriend) and Vino (my cat). We recently bought a new house in Assendorp. Because I have lived in Zwolle my entire life, I consider myself a true “Zwollenaar.” In my free time, I enjoy sports such as hockey, padel, rollerblading, and swimming. Additionally, I love attending festivals, socializing with friends, and (of course) traveling.
What is your role at 2Solar by Sollit?
I’ve been working at 2Solar for 2 years. At 2Solar, I work as an implementation specialist and consultant, focusing on the implementation of clients of all sizes. My responsibilities include customizing software and providing training to clients until they are fully onboarded. Besides onboarding new clients, I actively participate in the onboarding process for new colleagues. I am also involved in the Great Place to Work initiative and contribute to various internal projects. Recently, I acquired my Lean Green Belt certification and am currently utilizing my expertise to enhance processes within 2Solar.
What does GPTW stand for?
GPTW stands for “Great Place to Work.” It’s a welcoming environment where you can engage in activities you enjoy, feeling valued and appreciated. After conducting the GPTW survey last year April and obtaining the certification we have setup a GPTW working group with colleagues who volunteered. The group consists of colleagues of different locations and teams, to have a great representation. In collaboration with HR we have monthly meetings in which we discuss challenges and opportunities to make 2Solar by Sollit an even better place to work.
What do you like the most about 2Solar?
I really enjoy the challenge that 2Solar and the market we operate in bring, as it keeps me continuously challenged. I appreciate how we meticulously guide our clients, taking the time to ensure their needs are met from the moment they onboard until they are fully integrated. And when they are integrated, we provide them with the support they need, whether through the support department or consultancy.
What does ‘Learning is Growing’ mean to you?
‘Learning is Growing’ represents an ongoing journey of personal and professional development. I believe that learning never stops. For instance, I recently obtained my Lean Green Belt certification with 2Solar by Sollit sponsorship. Additionally, we learn a lot from our clients by simply listening to them. We can use that knowledge to help other clients, and in turn, 2Solar can continue to grow and improve.
I’m also often the face of implementation for new colleagues, where I teach them all the ins & outs about our product.
