Joyce Pontfoort

Who are you?  

I am Joyce, and I am 21 years old. I was born and raised in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. In my spare time, I like to unwind with a good book. I love filling my weekends with concerts, trips, and listening to alternative music. For an extra challenge, I enjoy 3D modelling and printing my own designs. From functional to decorative items, I love doing it all. 

What is your role at 2Solar by Sollit? 

I am a Customer Support Professional. 

My job involves contacting clients to discuss and resolve their issues with the system. This includes actively listening to their concerns, understanding the challenges they face on a daily basis, and providing tailored solutions to address their problems. 

The range of issues I assist with is quite broad; it can be as simple as guiding clients through the steps to edit a document template or addressing more complex, multi-layered problems that may involve troubleshooting and reporting bugs to our developers. We are also continuously working to optimize systems based on client feedback. My goal is to ensure that each client feels supported and empowered to use the system to its fullest potential. 

 

You are fairly new at the company. What are your first impressions? 

I have been working at 2Solar since September 1st. It was a breath of fresh air to come here. Everyone is so professional but so warm and welcoming. The onboarding was great. There was so much information and help it felt like everything one might need was provided. The help didn’t stop at the onboarding either. Even now, everyone is still so willing to help. The close cooperation between departments is easy and made easier with the contact we have with each other. At lunch, most colleagues eat together and laugh with each other.  

What do you like the most about 2Solar? 

The challenges, colleagues and clients make my day. Contact with clients is always so fun and refreshing. They bring new challenges with each call and email. Every customer presents a learning opportunity because the system is slightly different for everyone. It’s absolutely amazing. The fun events with colleagues are also a highlight. You get to spend extra time with amazing people and build meaningful connections. 

Any curious anecdotes you want to share? 

From the very start, we’ve experienced countless wonderful moments as a team. Our company BBQ was a delightful gathering, and sharing drinks with everyone every Friday afternoon feels like a tradition. Truly, each day here is filled with joy and unforgettable experiences. 

What does ‘Be Entrepreneurial’ mean to you? 

It means being unique, taking risks, being reliable and pushing the limits of what is possible. When we launched, our uniqueness set us apart, and I truly admire how we’ve managed to keep that spirit alive over the years. Each day, we take bold steps and challenge ourselves to redefine reliability as we strive to be the best software provider possible.  

For me personally, it means pushing myself further in my knowledge, taking the extra step for the customer and using my creativity to solve problems.
