Background and growth
Airco Montage Nederland was founded by partners Remko Groenwold, Hessel Zanen, and Twan Moerkerk. The idea originated from their sister company, Mulder Duurzame Techniek. Hessel and Twan initially focused on solar panel installations through Mulder Duurzame Techniek. As demand for solar panels decreased, they expanded into air conditioning installations. In 2023, they launched Airco Montage Nederland with locations in Leek and South Holland.
Today, the company has over 28 employees, installs 30+ air conditioners weekly, and serves a diverse customer base: 1,500 air conditioning clients and 2,000 solar panel clients.
A Head Start 2Solar
For Hessel and Twan, it was clear from the start that a streamlined system would be essential to support their growth ambitions and avoid time-consuming manual processes. The implementation of 2Solar was structured and tailored. Before the implementation, Safanje Kooi, Implementation Specialist at 2Solar, conducted an intake meeting. During this session, Hessel and Twan shared their requirements, which Safanje translated into a concrete plan. A week later, the plan was shared and quickly implemented. Together, Airco Montage Nederland and 2Solar established a fully automated cycle for the installation process, including:
- Automated Customer Processes: Tasks such as sending intake forms, inspection forms, quotes, reminders, and confirmations are fully automated.
- Procurement Management: The company sets purchasing prices and margins in 2Solar, ensuring quotes and price lists remain consistent and error-free.
- Maintenance Contracts: The system automatically offers and processes maintenance contracts. Once a completion document is signed, the customer automatically receives a maintenance contract proposal.
Hessel says: “2Solar not only saves us time but also strengthens customer relationships and streamlines aftersales. Additionally, the system is designed in a way that allows new employees to quickly and efficiently get up to speed.”
