2Solar Stories: Meet Willem
Who are you?
My name is Willem, 35 years old, and I live just outside of Antwerp with my wife and 2 kids. I like to spend my free time on the bike or go running in nature. To keep me focused, I like to train towards specific goals such as cycling or running competitions. That’s something that really gives me energy. Besides that, I enjoy spending time with friends. Preferably in combination with an elaborate wine and dine.
What is your role at 2Solar by Sollit?
As an Account Manager for the Belgian market, my focus is twofold. First, I have the responsibility to expand our customer base and create brand awareness in Belgium. Therefore, I am proud to have realized significant growth over the past 2 years. Second, with a continuously growing customer base, I also feel greatly responsible for making sure that our customers are being supported in the right way. In this case, I often am the first point of contact to discuss new ideas or explore different ways we can support our client’s businesses. Only by genuinely understanding the needs of our clients can we create real value for them, so they can achieve their goals and ambitions. Fortunately, at 2Solar we have a great team of customer success professionals who share the same mission!
What do you like the most about 2Solar?
At 2Solar we have a very open culture with a lot of creative people who are always happy to help when help is needed. Colleagues from different departments often get the chance to work together in such a way that we can better understand each other’s challenges. This not only improves internal communication but also gives us the chance to give feedback or even suggest new product ideas.
What does ‘A deal is a deal’ mean to you?
I strongly believe that staying true to your word is the only way to go. This goes for business as well as in all other aspects of life. When making an agreement, I think you must have every intention of committing to it. Of course, situations can change, in which case communication plays a critical role in (re-)defining your goals. But keep in mind that there are typically many paths to achieving them.
