2Solar Stories: Meet Liset

Who are you?
My name is Liset, 23 years old and I live in Zwolle. Outside of work, I like to stay active. I play as a setter in a volleyball team, take kickboxing classes every week and occasionally hit a ball on the squash or padel court. I am also a big music fan. You often see me volunteering behind the bar at Hedon, at (techno) festivals or at the local pub. Moreover, I love travelling and going on trips. My next adventure? Vietnam in April!
What is your role at 2Solar and how has it developed since you joined?
I started at 2Solar exactly three years ago as an intern. I wrote my thesis on the Employer Value Proposition in conjunction with our rebranding project. After graduating, I stuck around, as we would say in Dutch. đ
I started to grow in my marketing and communications role, focusing on keeping the website up-to-date, translating into new languages, managing LinkedIn posts, supporting exhibitions and writing newsletters.
Later, during a busy period, I supported the team, which gave me the chance to learn a lot about our software. That experience naturally led me to my current role as Product Marketer. Now I write our monthly product updates, communicate new features and help 2Solar users get the most out of our software. I also organise exhibitions and webinars and take care of everything from partner campaigns to logistics. Moreover, I am now responsible for managing partnerships at the marketing level.
What are you most proud of at 2Solar?
I am proud of how much 2Solar has grown over the past three years. This is my first âgrown-upâ job, so everything we are experiencing is new to me. I believe that with our passion, we can become the solid backbone for many companies. I love the dynamic market we work in and how both 2Solar and my colleagues go further to meet our customers’ needs. We are not just a software partner, we are so much more.
What does the value âStronger togetherâ mean to you?
In marketing, we are the central point (the spider in the web) of the organisation. I rely on my colleagues and other departments to make my work successful and deliver the best results. Many of the projects I am involved in are driven by collaboration with teams such as Product, Sales, Customer Success and Support. What I enjoy most is seeing how everyone is always ready to help or give the insights I need.
