Who are you?

I’m Dawid, 34 years old. I am from Poland and I have been living in Germany for 13 years. I live with my wife and two dogs (Babsi and Bobby) in a small village near the Dutch border.  I am a foodie and an enthusiastic videographer, which is also reflected in my food vlog on YouTube. I love discovering the world, new countries, new places, new cultures and of course new food, so I try to travel as much as possible in my free time.

What do you like the most about 2Solar?

What I like most about 2Solar is the combination of several key aspects that create a unique and enriching work environment. Firstly, the flat hierarchy is something I truly appreciate. It fosters open communication and collaboration, allowing ideas to flow freely across all levels of the organization. This structure not only empowers employees but also ensures that everyone’s voice can be heard. Additionally, the friendly atmosphere is a significant positive. Being a family-driven company, 2Solar exudes a sense of warmth and camaraderie that makes coming to work enjoyable. It’s comforting to be part of a team where mutual respect and support are paramount. Another aspect I admire is how management genuinely listens to employee feedback, including critical input. This openness to suggestions and willingness to consider diverse perspectives not only enhances the work environment but also drives continuous improvement within the company. Moreover, I appreciate the goal-oriented approach at 2Solar. The focus is always on reaching the desired outcomes, regardless of the methods employed. This flexibility allows for creativity and innovation in problem-solving, ensuring that the most important thing is achieving the set goals. Lastly, the opportunities for growth at 2Solar are outstanding. When you show initiative, the company provides ample chances to demonstrate your skills and prove yourself. This approach not only motivates employees to strive for excellence but also cultivates a culture of innovation and personal development. Overall, these factors combine to create a dynamic and supportive workplace where employees can thrive both professionally and personally.

What does ‘Be entrepreneurial’ mean to you?

To me, “Be entrepreneurial” means embodying a proactive and innovative mindset in everything I do. It’s about taking initiative and not waiting for opportunities to come to me, but actively seeking them out and even creating them when necessary. Being entrepreneurial also means embracing innovation and constantly looking for new and better ways to achieve goals. I believe in exploring new technologies, experimenting with different methods, and being open to change. This mindset allows for continuous improvement and keeps things exciting. Another crucial aspect is taking calculated risks. I understand that achieving great results often requires stepping out of my comfort zone and making informed decisions that involve some level of risk. It’s about balancing potential rewards with possible downsides and being strategic in my approach. Ownership and accountability are also key components. I take full responsibility for my projects and tasks, seeing them through from conception to completion, and being accountable for the results. This sense of ownership drives me to deliver high-quality work consistently. Resilience and perseverance are essential traits as well. I recognize that challenges and setbacks are inevitable, but I believe in bouncing back from failures, learning from mistakes, and maintaining determination to keep moving forward. Lastly, being entrepreneurial is about resourcefulness and value creation. It’s about making the most of available resources, finding creative solutions to problems, and focusing on creating value for customers, the company, and the community.
